Arthur Hutton]] and [[Aarsby-3
Opal Aarsby]], born in 1845 in Fort William, Ontario, Canada. His father was working at Canadian Car & Foundry building airplanes, a job he had started doing near the beginning of WWII in 1941.
His father worked very hard to support his family and was incredibly conscientious about spending so they would have money for things they valued, like trips to see family. (as evidenced by the detailed ledger books he kept down to the penny it cost for a loaf of bread)
------His family would often make trips to see their grandparent's farms in the summer months. His mother's family was from Alberta and his father's from Saskatchewan.

Gary was untreated for dyslexia and found himself held back in school several years, which meant he already owned his first car when several of his classmates were just turning 13 years old.
Despite his challenges in a traditional school setting he pursued an education in seminary and finished a 3-year theology degree in April 1970 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Seminary from Canadian Alliance College.

Two years earlier he had married Patricia Harbron in their home town of Thunder Bay, and she worked as a file clerk with the RCMP while he finished his education.

In 1969 his Grandma Ida Sophia Aarsby passed away (Aged 90)
During his final year in school, she fell pregnant and the couple had their first child shortly before his graduation.
In May 1970 Gary (age 25) the young family moved back to Fort William, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada while seeking financial support prior to getting their first church posting.
In September 1970 he was working as a new pastor at Hilltop Baptist Church, just outside of Erickson, Manitoba, Canada

In 1977 Gary (age about 31) was living in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.

In November 2012 Gary (age 67) was living at 131 Christina Street East, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Gary was diagnosed with [https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Myelodysplastic_syndrome Myodisplastics Syndrome] a condition where blood platelets don't form properly and therefore can't carry oxygen. Life expectancy is quite short, and unfortunately, he passed away about 5 months later.
Gary was buried after 27 December 2015 at Mountain View Cemetery, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.
