This week has been a whirlwind of activity! And emotions, if I’m really honest! I left home only knowing for sure my itinerary for the dates of the seminar. And, by the 3rd day here I had already experience lost luggage, a missed flight, and overbooked hotel, being checked out of my room a day early, and a general sense of not knowing where I’d be tonight.
And yet everything has worked out beautifully! I’m in a beautiful hotel room again tonight. And tomorrow, instead of the greyhound bus I’m getting on a train and travelling to Washington, DC and then Boston, MA
I’ll be in the Boston area for a while visiting friends, and then moving towards Canada again – those family visits are going to be a highlight of this trip.
Yesterday I was able to get to the ocean for a short visit, before my friend Susan flew back to the west coast. I snapped a few pictures on my phone.
It was the only sunny day that I experienced! AND, it was my birthday ~ so I was thrilled!!
Tonight I’m packing up and preparing for the next leg of the journey! The writing begins!
