Now we come to the part that most people skip straight to, when they plan their Holiday marketing (skimming over the research and content part). And that’s coming up with ideas for promotions your visitors and subscribers will love.
If you’ve taken the time to research your market and created strong Holiday-based or slanted content for them on your website, blog and social network pages, you should be able to tell at a glance which of the following Holiday marketing ideas will best work for your unique business. (And you won’t be guessing!)
HTML Email Coupons
Coupons are one of the biggest draws, when it comes to Holiday shopping. You can visually display your coupon right in your subscriber emails.
Your Autoresponder should offer a selection of Holiday-themed email HTML templates in its Template Gallery. (Just type “holiday” in the gallery search box or select “Holiday” from your Template categories.)
Some (like the one in our Aweber example) are even animated.
Don’t worry about subscribers who prefer text only: Most top Autoresponder companies nowadays let you give subscribers a choice on whether or not they want to receive HTML. And all convert HTML templates automatically to text, if the recipient’s email program doesn’t support HTML. But HTML graphics-based templates can really increase coupon appeal.
