Oh how I love creating these posts! In April I decided it wasn’t the best use of my time – they sometimes take over 5 hours to put together. But, so much fun! What do you think of having a “weekly roundup” that sums up a week, but doesn’t happen weekly? I know, sort of an oxymoron statement, right?
Update
Last week I was on vacation with my parents in the mountains (and hot springs, of course) and realized I’m quite tired (post book launch and website re-org). The kind of tired that doesn’t fix itself with extra sleep on a lazy weekend. My instincts tell me it’s time to bring back my “summer-schedule” – which means working only 2 hours a day.
That means I have 35 minutes left to finish this post & 20 minutes to share on social media, before finding something “non-work” to do on this beautiful day.
I’d better get cracking!
(which also means toggling to the “Distraction Free Writing” option in WordPress – if you haven’t used it yet, try it! You might love it as much as I do)

And to my friends in the USA, Happy 4th of July!
Have a great weekend! See you next week.
LOVE your roundups! Thanks for Calendly! JUST what I want!
Thanks Lacy! I love the simplicity of Calendly too. But I was really disappointed to learn this morning they’ve changed their packaging so that they’ll be just like all the other ones. 1 event, no customization for emails, etc. I only offer appointments sporadically, so I may choose to upgrade for a month, 2-3 times per year, and keep the free account.
How are you finding any.do? I found it really laggy across several platforms (chrome app/web app and android app) and super frustrating that each place allowed me different options!
I haven’t been using it much. I’m like this with to-do list systems. I want to use them, but then lose interest pretty fast. I didn’t notice the lag issue though.. interesting.
First time visitor and I love the idea of a weekly roundup but not done weekly!
I have a questions though – having visited the TinyLetter website, what’s the difference between it and Mail Chimp?
Awesome round up you have here! I enjoy reading your blogs. Thanks for sharing this!
Wow. You have so great links here, Loralee. I’m sharing this post on Twitter. 🙂
